We are living through rough times right now, UpSiders. Conflicts abound and folks coming into the country from far more conflicted places than here are greatly in need of help. And for those of us who want to help, sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. Enter, the easiest way to help refugee families ever: Miry's List.

According to the site, Miry's List is a movement of neighbors and friends dedicated to welcoming new arrival refugee families into our community.

Miry’s List is an easy way to help refugee families recently relocated to the United States. They are filling in the gaps not covered by the organizations that are sponsoring these families. Click on a family’s “list” and it takes you to their Amazon wish list. From there you can use your own Amazon account to send in-kind donations directly to the family.

You can send anything from jeans to hand soap and you know it’s going directly to a family in need. These folks have given up everything to come to our country, it’s great to know there’s an group like Miry’s List out there that’s helping us welcome them!
